Percy Clarke
Submitted by: Carolyn Clarke

We only have one photo of Percy.  His army portrait was unfortunately lost . Killed 4th August 1916 exactly one year after signing up and in his first battle near the town of Albert, France. First buried near Albert then reinterred in the the Courcellette British Cemetery.  His Mother spent years in anguish not knowing for sure what happened to him.
