Walter Ell
Submitted by: julianne jones

Walter Ell like his brother Arthur was  fighting in France for his country. He was shot in the back of the head and a metal plate was inserted in his skull and was returned home. He was further medically discharged and then resided with his father in Adamstown. He was extremely affected by his injuries including having his food mashed to eat and was very incapacitated by his injuries. Walter died a few years later and is buried in Sandgate Cemetery. He never married or had children. I thank him for his incredible  contribution and Bravery.
